I bet that will not be a problem in practice.

sounds fair enough to me. If they are adjusted ok when the lights power on who's to say they aren't self levelling? unless they load the boot with 400kg of ballastI don't see the problem. Check out page 28 on here.....
We work with our agencies and partners to support the transport network that helps the UK’s businesses and gets people and goods travelling around the country. Vehicles equipped with High Intensity Discharge (HID) or LED dipped beam headlamps may be fitted with headlamp washers and a suspension or headlamp self levelling system.
Where such systems are fitted, they must work; however, it is accepted that it may not be possible to readily determine the functioning of self levelling systems. In such cases, the benefit of the doubt must be given.
- So, if your projector HID's are properly setup and you have a working manual leveller and headlight washer you have no problem. Right, wrong?
can they be set too low?Volcano ABY coupe

I think this is the key point I've highlighted in bold.I don't see the problem. Check out page 28 on here.....

If you have HIDs, with headlight washers and self levelling sensors fitted, then I can't see this being an issue at MOT time, or any other.SSComment

Hello I have 2 friends working on a different MOTs and they say me that the AUDI send a letter to all MOTs saying if will goes to the MOT one of his car with HID and if the car is older than 98 year it DON'T must have automatic light lever; only typical electric manual light lever.
I pass 7 years around with a HID kit (fine installed), my ellipsoids, my washers an my manual light lever; and no problem at the moment. BUT one week ago I gone to the MOT and this year the engineer say me that in the year 1994 dosen't exist the XENON and my HID is an Chinesse kit
and the probe is that I have a manual electric light lever

AWESOME!!!
The only one reason for pass the MOT when I remember him the law for the old Audis
was that in our glasses don't put DC, only HC for hallogens.
And when, I say him an example.
The example that one friend bought some light from an A6 S6plus with original HID lights with some D1S (the engineer dosen't know who is a D1S lamp, patetical) and in the glasses put ONLY HC.
Well, the engineer made my to open the engine bay to watch the chinesse kits...but if he dosen't watch they (I electrician

), he must "leave me free"...for other one year
PS: we must search some sticker with DC letters to put onto a glasses
Excuse me for my poor englishphotobucket SUCKS
