Trouble with my headlights!

I collected my 3b s2 from Doug @MRC last weekend and my headlights haven't worked since, he did alot of work on the car (4k's worth to be precise), but still I have this niggling problem. The sidelights, fog lights and full beam headlights work just not on dipped beam. I've checked the bulbs and fuses, both of which are fine. I am going to get an auto electrician to look over the car but wanted to check on here first? Thanks for any help!

Check under the cowling by the steering wheel that a wire hasn't been knocked, it will either be the plug or the stalks I reckon.

Ive just checked under the steering wheel and theres at least 5 multi plugs not plugged into anything! really not sure where i can go now, apart from an Auto electrician which i cant really afford at the moment! Oh the joys.
