    Remote Central Locking

    Evening guys,

I am certain that you used to be able to get a plug and play aftermarket remote central locking kit. The question is - IS this still available from anywhere? Essentially just after a remote activated actuator aren't I?

    Cheers

Would something like this do the job? Thoughts. After just getting the car back from a respray on the drivers side coutesy of the young lad over the road, after he drove into the rear drivers side door, I would like to keep it a touch less key scratched (and get the rest of the car maching polished now )

I have a Right Click kit on my car and it is spot on. This is a friend of mine's new web shop, if you contact him direct and tell him "bikerjim" from the s2forum pointed you his way im sure he can do you a discount. He can also cut keys for you. LINK

I am using that kit in my car. It replaced the "orginal" votex kit which both remotes broke and I did not get spares. I also installed a solenoid to the bootlid so I can use the center button to open the boot. Haven“t got the time to get the keys cut so i am still using the normal key for starting. I would say good looking stuff for this sort of money.

Another vote for the rightlick kit, I have had two, worked perfectly.

              Got mine from here

They come with generic fitment instructions which I got to work fine with a haynes wiring diagram.

There is a guide on how to fit them on Audifans
