Speedo stopped working

Took the plug off the top of the sender unit and it fell off in my hand

Fairly simple job to re-solder and now all working again

My speedo doesn't work but the trip meter does
Peeling face but doesn't seem to be stopping the needle
Any ideas before I swap it for the s6 ones I ve bought-I don't really want digital trip or s6 badge on the rev counter
