    Airbag warning light

    Hi

Wondering if anyone can help me please...my S2 airbag warning light stays on all the time. Local dealer scanned the car and said it was my airbag ECU. I sourced and fitted a used one from a car that's not been crashed - the light is still on all of the time and the dealer couldn't clear the fault with VAGCOM.

Latest diagnostic print-out attached. Do I have to bite the bullet and buy a new airbag ECU? A new slip-ring? Or could it be bad wiring/connectors because it's "Sporadic"?

    Cheers

    Martin

wiring may well be the issue.

i had a similar fault indicating the passenger side igniter, and after changing a seat belt and the ECU, i sourced some cable tree from tots and by replacing the cable to my passenger side seatbelt, the light went away!

i didnt even take the original cable out, i just used the other one on top and hidden it under the carpets.
