    Idle problems

These cars keep you always busy...

Now it has started to fail idle. When is cold it starts but can't hold idle and shuts down and does a weird noise (like a electrical pulse).
After 2 or 3 attempts it finally works well and then no more issues, even after shutting down and starting again.

I've found cam position sensor harness broken like shown in picture.

    Can this be the cause?

Could certainly be the cause, check the continuity on the pins to the sensor too. you should be able to get a new connector though

          Thanks for the link UrS4,
I've been reading the post and that's exactly what happens to my car.
I've tried to order a new PCS and a new plug housing from EFI express. 22,50$ total cost but they ask 45$ more to ship to Spain.
Do you know any other site in Europe where I can order this?

Finally purchased all the kit (CPS+3pin male connector) to EFI express.
They have agreed to lower shipping cost to just 15$. So final price, shipped, is 30€.
