After reading about tonks4x4 missing 90 (sorry to hear it bro hope there is a happy out come) I have been looking a trackers on ebay.

This one looks good to me.

I like the fact you can listen in and turn off ignition/fuel pump, if I'm reading it right.

So what have others got? any recommendations?

Cut off the oil and the power system / restore oil and power system

bit extreme that one above, don't think the engine would last long with no oil.

Thats what I have in my 130 and it works spot on!!!!

Had just not got round to fitting one in the 90 as the Mrs uses it every day and not had chance to do it.

Its the chinease text translation... lol it cuts fuel.

I have set mine so that it kills all power except for the lights and hazards. So if I kill the engine and they pull up in the middle of the road hopefully no one will run into it in the dark and write it off anyway

You could go a stage further with some additional circuitry:

Hazards flash
Horn constant
Climate full hot/cold
Signal generator through stereo at circa 20 kHz + max volume
Interior smoke

The possibility's are endless :mischeif:

In fact I have just bought another ready for my next car....

The iPhone app for it works pretty good too...

From sending the shut off command it takes about 6 seconds to cut everything.

The SOS button is pretty cool too, If our lass breaks down and she dont know exactly where she is, press the button and it sends me a text link to google maps to show me within 10 feet of where she is.

Just got one ordered could do with one for the t4 to but that will have to wait, probably more sought after than the S2 though these days

What iphone app do you mean? I have a tracker in my car and its grade. Really like to know more about the app.

Its called GPSTrackerTK

its just a GUI that generates the correct text commands to dend to the unit.

Have it switch on a ignition coil wired to two strips of foil in the seat lining just
either side of the drivers nuts position.
