I put a Bosch 044 pump into my 90 the other day and linked a voltmeter to it and went for a drive. I get just about 12.2v is this to low for the pump? I'm thinking about running a new pos feed to the pump and using the original wiring to pull in a relay under the back seat. Any advice?
This is a typ85 so it's an inline pump under the rear ns seat.

first; change the voltregulator in the generator to 15v ( alt 14,8) THEN you may fix the low volt to the fuelpump....all the electikal in the car will bee better;and fuelconsumtion too, better lights etc
