    Flat battery help, non audi

Sorry not Audi but lots of experience on here may lead to an answer!
My dad (76 yr old) has a 99 s type jag
Repeated flat battery after leaving car anything from 1 day to a fortnight
Been to 2 different jaguar specialist who came back with nothing up with it
Tried all combinations of leaving locked/un in/out gear, handbrake on/off
All interior lights go off etc
Run out of ideas n getting frustrated as he has to jump pack it to get going n fins it difficult open boot with key as he can't bend well(key hole hidden under boot handle
    Any ideas?

    Maybe this might help:

S-Type / S type R Supercharged V8 ( X200 ) - 2001 S type dead battery - I have a problem with a 2001 S type (v8)that has intermitment (about once every two weeks) dead battery. Battery replaced several times. No warning lights or check engine issues. No connection with days driven or not driven. Battery shows no sign...

Pull each fuse and check for current draw with a multimeter until you find whats causing it. I made a fuse for the job by cutting the fuse section out of the middle and then soldering two wires to it. Makes it quick and easy to plug into each slot with a multimeter connected to it. Just remember you want to replicate how the car sits when its locked, so if you have any doors open at the time manually engage the catch as it would be with the door closed, tape the door switch in and lock the car. if you dont you will have things active that normally wont be, interior lighting, window switch illumination etc etc.

Do a parasitic battery drain test with a multimeter. If it indicates one pull fuses to each circuit in turn til drain stops.
Has he tried the obvious. New battery?. Google will explain how to do parasitic battery check.
