  • Airbag sensor removal RS2

Has anyone info on how to remove the airbag sensor, which is located behind the group of 3 auxiliary gauges, and on top of the propshaft tunnel, in effect under the dashboard. Sofar I've removed the centre console, using the excellent guide from the forum. This allows me to see the sensor, which has a retaining nyloc nut on each side, onto a mounting plate. The question is; are there other similar nuts holding the sensor that I can't see, which means pulling out the dashboard to get access?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

you are trying to remove the ECU airbag controller from what i gather.

there are 3 7mm nuts holding it on the metal plate.

Thanks for the info, but it's very tight to get a socket on the rear nut.
