ok. what i was getting at was, could the ecu be resetting at the same time that the injectors lost 12v. thus reseting each time it happens. thats a great diagram, for the bookmarks, also line 15. switched power, what is it switched by , ignition ?
Yes, this could be happening if it loses RPM trigger sync.

Switch = ignition switch turned to the ON (RUN) position.
The diagram is part of the AAN ECU pinout post that I did sometime ago (but regularly updating as new info is found, e.g. RHD ECU location, etc. The post (linked below) has hyperlinks to the devices that the ECU controls. The basics are the same for an ABY or ADU so it can be a handly reference for S2 and RS2 owners as well as UrS4/S6 owners.
