    Tacho resistor

    Hi chaps....

First time I have had chance to get to sorting this issue....

Running an ADU engine in an early 82 UR SWB.

    Come to wiring the tacho...

I have the signal wired to the clocks and it shows idle but when revs increase the needle drops to zero.

I have some resistors (not the correct rating) but I am on the understanding I use a 2 ohm resistor to correct the input.

That should work but what wattage resistor do I need????
