don know if i can post this here. but feel free to tell me off lol. fathers car rear pass window went down on its own. check switch fine. swaped switch with other side. still no go up. stipped door cheeked wiring found no fault. motor plug has five wires, two constant power, 12v , 2 pinks, earth for switch up and down and a brown. found that on e pink has 12v allways, so striped back of plug, reconected and used a jumper wire to earth the relavent pink to chassis, window closed, left plug disconected. im no sparky. how can an earth have power. short or a switch problem or does anyone have experiance wih the laguna windows. any help appreciated, its almost a crime to pay for labour in my house.. i can only recall once in my life having to or witnessing it, in the auto trade anyway. thanks in advance if anyone can help

Does it have more than one switch for that window? (ie one to open that window from the front seat) as it is possible it needs two good switches - Renault electrics are not known for their integrity
