Windscreen Washer Jets not Working

Same thing happend to me on my s2 avant,so I took the motor out opened to pieces,gave it a good clean and lucky it worked!!!it worth trying.

Its says on the lid of your fuse box, or is this abit obvious ?

Maybe on yours but mine are long gone

I keep a photo copy in the glove box

Turns out to be the washer jet motor which is near enough 100 sheets including VAT

....Get a S/H one ??

If its the same as the ur quattro washer motor then Halfords do one the same size that drops straight in.

Headlamp washers and Window washers are 2 separate pumps. i change both of mine a couple of years ago

Thats strange as every RS2 and every S2 Avant I've seen have 2

You would be amazed what can be resurrected. My rear one had got wet and was rusted solid, soaked it in wd40, clamped it in a vice and twisted back and forth with a vice grips until it loosened up, has worked perfectly ever since

My windscreen washers stopped working a while ago, so tonight i thought i'd take a look...



I presume the unplugged part is for the headlight washers. Plugging this in makes no odds to either headlight or windscreen washers. I know the headlight washers have been disabled by the previous owner, not sure if they were just unplugged here or if anything else.

Fuse 15 is ok. Is there a relay i can change or am i likely to need a new pump? Can anyone advise?
