    ecu resistor R201 location?

Hi guys, been reading up on here about modding the aby ecu to rs2 spec.

    RS2 Homefry-done
    3 bar V-Map-done
R201 resistor change- where the fek does it go in the ecu? There are quite a few that look the same

Pics would be a great help

Are you going to run the standard RS2 Homefry chips with the new resistor?

Yes correct, just got back from having it soldered in but obviously can't 100% say its an improvement as still have a small boost leak somewhere.
It does however feel crisper and smoother

So you just replaced r201 with a 5.6K resistor? What is the original value, can this be measred in circuit? Have you a WB Lambda to check fueling?

That resistor sits on the MAF signal.
Use it with a calibration that was not designed for it, and you are going to over advance the ignition, lean out the mixture, and coupled with all sorts of fun software sold on ebay that has all kinds of limiters disabled, this will quickly lead to engine damage.

Doesn't really matter all that much what your afr gauge shows, when your timing advance is 6-8 degrees too early.

In this case though, if it is actual "RS2 Homefry", then changing that resistor is required.
