I read somewhere that the Ellipsoid Headlights on Avant's can be adjusted for LHD. Anyone here ever done it? Or would you suggest leaving well alone, as any linkages are 17 years old? I'm taking her to France shortly, involving an amount of night driving, and could do without some French copper pulling me over for blinding them.

It's in your manual mate.
Be careful, if it's not moved in a while as you suggest, it could snap
It's a lever in all ellipsoids that flattens the beam, removes that kick up of the light pattern on the left side, so it doesn't dazzle continental drivers who insist on driving on the wrong side of the road
