I have them fitted on mine, no warning light issues. If the ones you have require a seperate earth this is what causes the fault.

Check the earth and clean up if required.

If it still does that, do the k pin mod to the relay to remove the bulb out warning. There is pics/threads on here

I just did the k-pin mod. Didn't know there was a 'proper' way of doing it

I added relays on the feed to the hids and ran new supply cables which were a thicje gauge with fuses by the battery for new circuit. can also get autocheck bits on ebay for £5 aimed more at modern vehicles which has a shunt capacitor to smooth out the rapidly changing autocheck voltage and maintain supply to ballasts

              e.g. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-HID-Xen...item4d056cf500

I had HID lights on my UrS4 and didn't have any problems with the autocheck. As mentioned above, check your earth points.

Thought I would post here rather than make a new thread, was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on choosing either of the following kits:

I can't see the first link and the second link is for H4 bulbs.

                      S2s use H1 bulbs.

Yes I believe the non-elipsoid headlights use H4 bulbs. Most people with HID use elipsoid lights though.

Is it not advised to use HID in non elipsoid lights? Don't have the funds to upgrade to elipsoid and surely anything is better than the light spread my lights currently give out! I'm driving on motorways most nights and don't feel safe
