Headlight Electrical Gremlins

Hello Everyone,

It's been a long time since I've contributed but finally getting the car back on the road, after lots of other issues I'm just preparing for the MOT and my lights are playing up.

So here goes (by the way 3B coupe with standard lights)

At all times the side lights work
On dim dip only the nearside light works (occasionally)
On low beam no lights work (and autocheck comes on)
Pull back (headlight flash) and I get all lights
Pushforward I get no lights.

Any ideas before I pull the stalks apart?

All sorted, took the stalks off, contact cleaner and an air hose worked.

Well it was sorted, now it is not. Very wierd I come back today and have the same symptoms where the work on dim dip but not low beam or main beam (to lock on) can flash them fine. I've got the stalks off and have cleaned them. But the symptoms still persevere.

Has anyone a photo of the stalks open with how mine should be incase I'm missing a spring or something silly. Unless its an ignition issue? coming into the block connector?

anyway I am point to pointing with my multimeter the stalks this evening but any tips would be useful.
