    Alarm wont open door locks..?

All working yesterday but not today and I didn't go anywhere near any electrical connections.

I have a Clifford alarm for donkeys years and no problems till today. The door locks open with the key so I assume the pump is fine. But when unlocking or locking with the Clifford alarm buttons they don't work anymore.

Is it a matter of locating the Clifford module to see what's happening?

Something of the sort had happened to me when I had taken off my car's battery to be worked on. It started working again by putting a fuse into the car's fuse box for the central locking, not sure on the number but it might have been 17, 19 or similar, just giving ideas as this had reset my alarm system

When you wire the alarm is a good tip to feed it not throug a fuse located in the fusebox .
Try to find the type of alarm not only the make . Is alot more helpfull.

        Update:
Had some time to look through. The alarm was professionally installed so there are fuses everywhere.

All Clifford fuses were ok and operating. The Clifford relay was also clicking. So I looked at the cars interior lights/locks fuse as suggested above which was a 20amp fuse and it had gone. Don't know why, but didn't have a 20 so I replaced it with a 25amp.

In the meantime I managed to use some of the tesa tape to make the cable spaggheti look more presenatable and also covered an earth that was perished.

        All sorted!

I did order a tool kit for the programming of the alarm as I have never really managed to learn it properly. So anyone with a Clifford/viper alarm will be able to have a go with it.

        Thanks guys!

Not to mention of course that once I had all cables out and checking everything I reconnected them the opposite way and guess what? While locking the car the locks stayed unlocked and while unlocking it with the Clifford button, they locked! Dohhh there we go again reopening the shelf....
