0.8A will flatten the battery. A boot light permanently on will draw 0.3A

There isn't normally an ignition switched feed on the S2. Where are you sourcing the permanent feed from. It should already be present in the radio iso wiring.
I have found another wire behind the stereo that was also perm live probebly the one you are on about, so i connected it to that and checked the drain and it is showing the 0.8 well i left the car for 8 hours while i did my shift took some jump leads just in case but didn't need them car started with loads of power in the battery, Will have another dig around on the w/end to find where the drain is coming from.

    800mA is way too much!

My UrS4 has less than 10mA total - my clarion radio draws about 4-5 mA

Anyone know what the G4 selector switch is and where it is ? Don't think it's the interior lights they go off when you close the door's there is no other light illuminated in the car exept the clock the radio is also not on. I am wondering whether it could be the anti-theft thingy as i have been ripping the after market alarm out and i also changed the ignition switch for one with the correct Colour wires but this did the same thing when i had the other ignition switch fitted. I have also taken out the relays no clicking detected.

Might pay to check if any relays are staying on with the ignition keys out. Slowly pull them out of the socket one by one and listen for a clicking sound.

I'm thinking your ignition switch is broken inside and not switching off properly..

4 Amps would be lights on, heater fan, or ignition on, that's a big drain. When the meter is reading 0.00 on the 10 Amp scales switch it to 200m (one click anti clockwise) so you can see the milliamps.

Think you might have misunderstood the instructions.
You need to remove the battery negative terminal completely. You then connect the multimeter leads between the negative battery pole and the negative terminal. So thats one multimeter lead on the bare battery pole and the other on the negative terminal lead. In series means between!
I use a spare battery terminal to do this test as that way you can leave it connected whilst pulling the fuses!

Pull fuses out one by one until that reading falls close to zero. Then you will know what circuit is causing the drain. 4 amp drain will cause the problem you're describing
