Fuse 12 is blowing knocking out my speedo cluster and aux dials.
I changed the stalks and thought that had cured it but to no avail.
Checked all connections to the speedo pod and all are fine everything works as it should.
Anyone experienced similar.
Help much appreciated as its a nightmare when it goes and I just had a police van follow me for 6 miles as I guessed the different speed limits (driving like miss daisy comes to mind!)
Assuming the trip computer still works you can use this as a temp speedo until you get this sorted. Also, assuming the stalk still controls the trip computer - just re-set the average when you want to know your speed.
I had a problem with mine when glove box wires were popping the fuse for aux and dash lights. It also blew my reg plate lights. Think it was a 5 amp fuse i can't remember which number it was. Ended up taping up wires to glove box light.
Yes but there is one behind the main dashboard looking at the front its on the top right hand 1 small screw my fuel gauge and speedo was erratic someone on the forum I forget who suggested looking at the voltage stabiliser on the main dash panel, I just took mine out cleaned it put it back and it worked . Its worth a try. Derek
