Hey. My remote central locking is not working. I tried both keys but they doesn't work. Where can i start to trouble shoot. I tried looking at the LED in the key through a camera like you can doo with any other remote. And nothing happened. Is the keys broken then
what is you battery voltage..? it should be close to 6 volt in total. If the voltage is nowhere near say 5v - then they might not be able to supply the required current
I suppose your keys have 4 cells inside
I tested my IR keys with an external 6v power supply. Unfortunately I can't remember the amperage needed to make the IR-LED light up - but I think it's in the 75mA range
Easy way to check if the infrared light works:
Use your mobile phone camera....
Point the camera to the light and push the button on the key...
