Bosch S5 let down

Well only had the super duper Bosch batt in for 4 months and it's dead

Feel well let down after all the hype, must be a dud. Had the RAC man out tonight and he tested everything with his testing stuff, Alternator fine, charging OK all voltages as they should be.

Back to Halfrauds tomorrow with my receipt for a new one thanks very much

At least there's the warranty, I have a varta blue top still from the previous owner and it's still doing it's job, starts even after being left unused for two weeks.

Then again I've probably jinxed it, watch as I go to start it tonight and I find it dead

That's a bit worrying, I bought one of these last month too. They come with a 5 year warranty don't they?

5 Year warranty yes, it's just the inconvenience of the car not starting when you need it to after you've shelled out top wedge for a supposedly fantastic battery.

RAC man said they have sacked Bosch and gone back to Exide
