No flash option or blue warning light

Car doing my head in slowly, I fix one thing then along comes another surprise.

As per title I do have high beam but the blue dash light doesn't come on, plus I don't have the flash option. Now before I start ripping things apart has anyone got any ideas what the cause could be.

I am thinking either the stalk or relay.

I had something similar a short while ago... I got some contact cleaner and squirted the contacts loads and moved the stalk around repeatedly in all of its directions of movement. This sorted it out and I got my high beam and blue dash light back. Make sure you have some rag ready to catch the dripping excessive contact cleaner. Hth's

It may not work for you but its worth a try. I was getting the same as you apart from the fact my high beam wasnt switching on so was slightly different. Good luck and hope it works

Stalks would be my first port of call.

I had the same prob with the wiper stalk- everything worked except the rear wiper. Contact cleaner sorted it.

Sounds the like the stalks playing up - open them and give them a refresh
