Brian tonks built one useing a coupe Quattro as a donor car and put a 3b engine in it some years ago and he has swb body kits he makes at a good price .

That's who I will be having my kit off as he used genuine swb bumpers bonnet wings ect ect .

He would be cheaper to use them Quattro coach works but depends if he would be willing to take it on .

Yes but the next owner would use a 5 pot engine

Then it's a direct swap indeed.

i think the plugs for the clocks are different size. on my 80 quattro v6 conversion to aby the plugs on the loom were different size to s2 clocks.

Plugs are all the same if car has autocheck. Minicheck has smaller white plug at the back of cluster. Otherwise S2 cluster is direct swap to any B4 (with rev counter inaccuracy on non-5pot engines).

I've been using S2 clocks in my V6 for years, I swapped the face from the S2 rev counter onto the V6 one, otherwise it was a straight swap. If you swap the check unit over from the old clocks it will work as before.

I tried to install the s2 clocks on my coupe 2.8 v6, but the wiering jacks are different than the clock jacks .... For example at the aux instrumens like in the next image. The ones below are the v6 ones and above s2. Is posible to remove the electonic part from v6 and install the others there?

                    Is this correct ?
I've always fancied some S2 white dash clocks in my V6 complete with a auto check AND trip computer.
I can get some dial faces from Rusty however I've been led to believe that as my current V6 dash has full autocheck, a minicheck with trip computer will not fit ?
Is there even such a thing as full autocheck AND trip computer ?
What would be the best option ? Source a complete S2 dash and then change the rev counter dial as Matt suggested OR find the correct full autocheck/trip combo and transplant to my current dash ?
For what this cost me so far I could have bought an S2

As far as I know autocheck and trip computer was standard on S2 so every S2 cluster has them. Anyway check/computer unit is removable and can be combined whatever you want (autocheck/computer, autocheck/nothing, minicheck/computer, minicheck/nothing).
Best will be to source S2 cluster because speedometer on S2 is 280kmph (300kmph on RS2) where non-S/RS speedometer is up to 260kmph so changing dial face may show incorrect speed.

Is posible to combine modules for clocks but the problems is with the wiering and jacks. I don't know what to say about aux gauges because are very different like you see in the picture above.

                          @ Snp10 You have PM .

You can use the clocks but the rev counter will show the wrong rev.
