    The issue is likely the large ampage that the ABY fan draws.

    Have a read of this: 7A and 3B wiring is the same.

    I considered doing the same but decided to use the correct ABY harness as the 7A & 3B is not rated for the current draw of the beastly ABY fan.

        I think its No5 (30A) for the full speed fan assuming its still fused from the fuse box!

            I got the fan running last night.
            Put new connectors on all the wires and new fuses in the fuse box and everything seems to be okay, sounds like I only have the one speed but that doesn't bother me too much, may come on a bit early (just before 90degrees) but then I don't think my gauges are 100% accurate at the moment.

            Nurburgring here I come.
