Trip computer LCD and charging issues.

    Hi!

My trip computer LCD has some bad bleeding.
How hard is it to swap the computer with a replacement like this?

i also have a different problem, the alternator won't charge until at blip the engine to 2000rpm. Does this have anything to do with the blue wire?

    /Andreas

It's simple, as long as the part you put in is the same as the one you take out.
That part is expensive. Would you not be better to buy a set of S2 clocks with a trip computer which has no bleed and swap the section which has the trip computer in it over to your own dash?

      Bought a new trip computer.

Bit the charging issue still has to be solved.
Does anybody have any clues what the problem might be?

        hi there,
you have a small blue cable screwed to your alternator. unscrew it and try to pull it out of the loom.
if you have a 20cm peace of blue cable in your hand afterwards, then you might know your problem.

Brutal but good way of telling if the wire is corroded, I like it
