Cruise control wiring loom

I'm thinking of buying an indicator stalk with cruise control on it off ebay for small money to fit into my 95 tdi avant.
Just wondering if it is possible to get a loom to go from the stalk to the blue connector under the dash made up by someone as it would work out really cheap to get it setup this way instead of buying a full kit off the likes of kufatec.com

from the bit of research ive done not all TDI's can have cruise fitted.

do you not need a control ECU as per the other B3/B4 cars or is it different as it has a fly-by-wire throttle?

Cruise can be fitted no 95. TDI and it's just a few wires plus enabling it in ECU using vagcom.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think I just need the new indicator stalk and the small loom to go from the stalk to a blue connector under the dash.
Then I have to get it on vagcom to enable cruise on the ECU.
It only seems to work for 95-96 plate TDI's
