Heater controls ac/rec plug

Hey guys,

Just replacing my heater controls and like a fool I didnt bother to look at what order the wires went in at the back of the ac & rec switches. I didn't have a plug on it but 4 separate wires. Red grey black and yellow.

Any help to what order they go would be great.

No one? If anyone has there drivers side kick panel parcel shelf thingie under the steering wheel off, you can see the plug/wires from there if you look back up into the center console.

I don't have manual A/C so I can't take a photo but I suspect your non standard wire colours and no plug don't help.

From the wiring diagrams on S2central:

Pin 1: black/yellow
Pin 2: brown
Pin 3: black/green
Pin 4: no connection
Pin 5: black/green

so that's not particularly helpful but pin 1 goes to the motronic ecu, pin 2 goes to ground, pin 3 goes to the temperature sensor between the pollen filter and the fan, pin 5 goes to the recirc valve switch which is the one with a vacuum feed to it.
