I don't smoke, but have an NOS lighter from Audi Tradition as the white icon had rubbed off the original one. Easy to replace the whole unit? Is it just a case of prising out the old one and pushing the new one in? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you'll have to take the center console out, the retaining clips are quite sturdy, it may prise out from the top but I think I would be inclined to remove the center console to avoid cracking it or damaging it some other way.Comment

I would suggest it would be a centre console out job. You may be able to access it by removing the diff switch.Comment
