Electric windows. Can i make all go up and down auto?
Hello. I was wondering this morning, what controles the windows to open and close? The drivers window goes down with just one touch on the button but i have to hold it to close it. Can i change something to make it and the others open and close automatically

Julian.
Hi. Just out of interest, when you lock your car, does your windows close automatically? On my A100 drivers window opens/closes with one touch, and windows close when car's locked, while on my S4 none of that happens
What I will do, is take all the wiring out of my A100, and install it in S4.

Is a S2 made with that? The windows doen't close when i lock the car
I'm pretty sure some came with comfort function, would be weird if it didn't(that's just what I think) I thought that A100 wiring would be the same, but I am not sure, you need to as round for that, maybe Audi dealers? Etka doesn't show much If wiring is the same, just take wiring from C4 platform cars and sorted.
Is your S2 an Avant?

Yes. From 94
i just hoped i could change a relay or something like that. If i have to change the wiring to make it work i just keep it like it is now

I can try swapping relay around and central locking pump and see whether it works, can only do it next week though. So then we should see whether it's just the relay and central locking pump, or whole wiring.

So had a look today, window relays are exactly the same, same OE number, but central locking pumps are different, the one on UrS4 had 3 connectors, while the one on my A100 had 2, and also UrS4 pump is bigger, I am not sure why though. I might try Audi dealers see what they say.

Wiring for central locking WITHOUT electric windows
So by the looks of it is the whole wiring.
On my A100, when I lock my car, windows close, I can press open/close once and it will open/close and I can remove ignition key, and still close windows while on S4 I have none if it, so I'm gutted.
