speedo change ? change the miles on clock

hi not shure if this is the right place but here we go .i have changed my speedo on my car from km to mph .the speedo is reading a different mileage .question is can it be changed .can i put less miles on the clock or is it fixed .i am not trying to clock the car for profit or decive anyone it's just i want to get it right because the engine is new and only done 15k .is the speedo electric or macanical ?

On 200? It's mechanical but driven by electric motor and mileage can be changed. Illegal though.
