    cruise control not stable

    Hi,

I have some problems with my cruise control on my aby s2.
Sometimes it isn't working and if it works the control is not stable. It's fluctuating very hard from "full" trottle to non trottle. It's not that smooth as it used to be. Has anyone any idee where to start looking or had the same issue?

    Thanks.

It maybe that your pump is tired. Or a split in the large black diaphragm under the inlet manifold.

I can't see it being electrical or your pedal switches at this point...

Check for any splits on any of the rubber hoses as they do perish

For my own experience, I would say that what is more likely to fail in this typed in speed control is the control. When installing the tube my many problems, there was no way it would work. Get 4 switchboards which only worked one. These exchanges are a widespread problem of "cold welding". With a magnifying glass and I could arrange a tinker. The rest as magnifier did not see the cold welding, the Calente with a hairdryer and all worked.

Start by reviewing the unit. If activating the cruise control not you hear the relay within him enter. bad ....

Where are the cruise control control module and the vacuum pump on an S2? On a C4, the silver box is above the glove box and the vacuum pump is in the left fender(wing) cavity:
