F96 Altitude sensor mounting

Has anyone got a picture of the fitting orientation of the altitude sensor in a RHD S2?




I have the bracket here but I can't find a happy home for it down in the passenger footwell - I'm wondering if my 89 shell is missing mounting holes etc. Can anyone show me a picture of it fitted into place?

I thought it would show up in this photo of the S2/RS2 moisture trap in the left hand side kick panel but nope. I'll see what else I can find if nobody else helps you first:

If it is like the C4 UrS4/S6s, the F96 is normally located very close to the ECU, e.g.:

Found this diagram that might put Eric's photo in better "focus" (bracket seems to attach to metal on the left side of the left side kick panel area).

Yup, as above I know where it lives, the rough location is shown in the first picture I posted of the blue car.
What I need is a detail picture of exactly how the bracket mounts to the chassis

The feed to the sensor goes through the foam plug above it, its the lower yellow one.

Thanks Eric mate, really helpful.
I did think it lived in there, but mine has a big rubber grommet for the sunroof drain in the way. Maybe it just needs squashing back a bit.
I'll have a butchers. tomorrow.

The same sensor is installed in 10V NG coupes/80/90. I mean the factory bracket should be easy to find.
