Strange Wires On S2 Coupe 3b??? Pics Attached!!!

Hi forum people, just in the middle of replacing my Heater Matrix and found theses strange wires cut and just hanging there on the nearside at the rear of the glovebox area?? Doe's anyone have a clue what they are please
Any help will be much appreciated.

Just had a look at wiring colours and there are Two Brown + White wires, Two Brown + Blue wires, Two Yellow wires and One Brown Earth wire, this one was still connected to earthing multi connector on nearside.

The brown + <colour> are speaker normally.

Confused now as all speakers are connected and this loom i found has been chopped at some point??

It is/was part of a airbox blower harness.

Here's a pic of when I did my heater matrix, there looks to be 5 wires going to the blower...not that clear but may be of some help?
