drivers window not working

hi guys,my drivers window is not working,when i press the switch on the arm rest i can hear a a noise like a relay clicking under the dash, what do i need to check to find the problem.any help will be appreciated regards john

cable jam inside the door, demount panel, check cable or motor, lubricate cable,

if complete jammed, w ll need to change the mechanism...

oops ,did nt read you post fully, seems like an electric problem then, not the usual cable jammed, u ll need more support than a amateur mech ! lol
