Has anyone bought/used one of the cheap handheld OBD code readers on ebay? I want to buy one to read any codes that may arise and reset codes and reset setvice lights when i have done DIY services.

Use the one dedicated to vw audi group.All you want for vw audi seat skoda.It has obd2 function also and you can use it to monitor engine data for other manufacturers.But only engine.
Or use autocom. -
I have used one of those orange handheld cheap ebay scanners, they worked on focus and subaru but I couldnt get it to work with the s2 with the adapter cable.
But it was able to diagnose a faulty solenoid in focus autogearbox and faulty lambda in subaru
I have the vagcom for the vw/audis so I wasnt pushed.Comment
