Drivers window issue number 495949393

Right in waiting for a motor I bought off someone to turn up.


But in the mens time is there anyway to over ride the window to get it up
As it's stuck halfway down and I can't borrow my mates car any longer


So need to get it at least up so I can still use my car


Any help is welcomed,

I've not taken a good look at my window reg but i'm assuming the motor is a 2 pin, so just put 12v across it and it will move, reverse polarity to go the other way.

If you are waiting for a motor because yours doesn't move at all you will be able to remove the motor from the drum housing and move the window up then refit the motor to lock the drum back in place. Be very careful though as you don't want the drum to come out and wire to all undo. So if possible get some one to hold drum in housing whilst you move glass.

Just did this,

Took the motor housing off and spin if around till the window went up!
