has anyone experience with swapping a normal steering wheel to a mfsw ?
the car is a audi a6 4b year 2002 with a fis in dash and a rns-d radio
i placed a mfsw in the car and look with vagcom where to adapt some codes
but do not find much to activate and the steering wheel buttons do not work
should something be changed on the steering column wiring ?

    thanks

On some models you do need an additional mini harness but I researched this a while ago for an A3 (similar setup).

Google search on "Forum retrofit RNS-e". Obviously you have a -d but there is far more info available on -e and the logic is the same. I found a lot of links ( Rosstech Wiki is good for codes) and step by step instructions unfortunately I haven't kept them American Audi / Sat nav forums were easy to find and had concise write ups.
