    URS6 spare plug

No problems but just putting everything together in my S6 and spotted a connector next to the ecu. Anyone know what's it's for? Was just hanging there!

      Your photo upload failed.

Do you mean this one or the other one (second photo)?

First one is the speed limiter

Second one is the cruise control diagnostics plug.

Rich I fixed your pic for you.
What you need to do is copy the image URL (the link) then click on the Insert Image button at the top of the reply box (its the yellow sky with grey mountain logo) and paste your link into the pop-up box. What that does is adds the [IMG] [/IMG] tags that displays the link as a picture.

        so this is your link

then add the IMG tags as follows (with no space)

        [/img]

        Make sense?

        Indigo ABY coupé
        Imola B6 S4 Avant

I didn't find anything about this in the wiring diagrams. Do you have anything about that?

So its the speed limiter coding plug, not used outside of North America where the speeds were factory limited to 130 mph (209 kph) in case somebody ran "H" rated tires on their UrS.

No. Somebody (not me) followed the wires back to the silver cruise control box above the glove box. I have searched for wiring info and come up dry:

That 92 or 93 UrS4 was being parted out. Always a good photo op for future reference.

I got to taking the dash out of my breaker then sold it whole. Wish I had of broke it myself now for the experience. Always learn a lot from stripping cars IMO!
I always find it slightly amusing on these cars how you seem to find fuses and relays all over the place! Especially the A post kick trims!
