    Airbag issue

    I've got RS2 1994 model year.
As I understand the car was produced w/o airbags.

But now I trying to install OEM drivers airbag.

First of all I buy left and right switches (lights and wiper), new steering column (upper part) and airbag ring.

But connectors to the new switches must be also changed.

Does anybody know OEM partnumbers of this connectors and does anybody know is there only pin moving or I must change wirings also?

If you are installing late model airbag wheel then few wires needs different pins (large or small - opposite what they has now). Connector housings can be taken from 95/96. B4, C4 A6 or pre-facelift B5.
Best will be to get connectors with approx. 15cm of wires, plug over what fits and solder what doesn't. Wire colors match.
I did this 4 years ago so don't remember exactly which wires needed soldering.

I can't find any B4/C4 for these parts, so I want to buy new connectors. But I can't locate partnumbers.

So, As I understand, the only way is to find B4 and take used parts.

4D0971978 for lightning switch connector. Wiper switch seems to have the same connector as now. I remember having problems with wipers (1st speed was missing) after this swap, but relocating pair of wires in wiper switch connector fixed it.
