I want to confirm the wiring layout in the T14a headlight, park light and signal light switch and am looking for a photo of the harness side of the connector (not the switch side) showing the wire colours and layout.
The one that would connect to this (right side of the photo):

Thanks very much Mark for the nice clear, well focused, photos. That is the good news.
The bad news is that connector has way more wires than I expected.
I have no clue what the Black/yellow wire is for in T14a/3.
I have no clue what the two siamesed red/grey wires are doing in T14a/11.
I have no clue what the grey/yellow wire is doing in T14a/12.
I have no clue what the red wire is doing in T14a/14.
I know the non-NAmerican C4s have the feature where you park at the side of the road and you can pull the signal light stalk down to flow current to the signal light(s?) on the exposed (to the road) side of the car, as a warning. That said, there are five wires more than a NAmerican switch of the same vintage.
Hmmm.... I think I will be machining an UrS6 steering wheel to accept an UrS4 clockspring rather than changing to UrS6 switches.
Or not. Too many options. NOT enough decisions.
Thanks again for the photos.

That's a shame. Remember though my 2.8 quattro is a near fully loaded car so may have extra wires for the added on options. It was a dealer demonstrator!

Lighting-wise, what options do you think it has? I think the single grey wire is for the headlight washing system, for example? Daytime running lights?

Spot on, it has the headlight washing system but no daytime running lights, aren't they operated by just putting sidelights on?

No. They come on as soon as the ignition is turned to RUN. Controlled by a relay. Headlights on at 70% voltage plus taillights and front marker lights. NO dash lights like when you put on the "parking"/sidelights on, at least over here. (Parking lights here is everything BUT headlights).
