Board Computer Failure

My trip computer on my S2 Coupe has just stopped working. The autocheck still works but the trip unit display remains blank.

Any previous on this or pointers??

You are going to have to pull the instrument cluster out and do some poking and prodding. One thing is the board computer has a coding plug that might have worked its way out of its socket. Looks like:

Okay, I took my clocks out, checked all the connections and replaced some bulbs whilst there. Still no joy with the computer display. Any other BTDT on this one???

i had a burned resistor on pcb itself. but this resulted in both a/check and BC dead. There was 2 electrolytic caps in my instrument panel insert. change those to something modern - if that does not help, you have solved a future problem.
