What fits? Can I go to a smaller one, like a 90 amp?

Bearings on mine have gone and when I roved it, I noticed a crack in one of the casings...

I've got an S4 one I used as a spare for over a year on mine seemed to wok ok never any issues with under charging etc £40 posted if ya want it

This one worked fine and was 90amp so wouldn't worry about not having 120amp

Sorry, missed the fact its the smaller one. Is it a straight swap?

Got a 120amp from a VW 2.5tdi emgine, don't know if it would fit though...

Mines on the way to the bearings you can hear them rattling very expensive brand new around the £250 mark just for the part so interesting to see what the options are

I think the 120amp version was only fitted to cars with certain options spec'd. I.e. cars with Aircon or heated seats etc. Point is either are interchangeable with the exception of 3B/7A units that use a different belt.

Fitted a V6 120 amp unit courtesy of Gripper & RustyNut. Just required the pulley and rear cover swapping. Only difference is the ABY item has a tapped hole to secure a P clip holding the wires there. Will sort that when I try the 90A, courtesy of Rikki

my aby had 120 amp no aircon or heated seats.

i make a presumption later cars all had 120 amp. mine was an N plate
