Hi guys I have an issue with my right hand electric window it seems like it has a mind of its own and doesn't always want to go up and down, tested the thermal fuse and relay but it still randomly stops working, leave it 5 min and it works again. I'm now thinking it's the motor! Any ideas before I change it?

I had this problem for a while so I changed the thermal fuse and relay didn't make a difference so I removed the door card and greased the rollers and wires and gave the motor a few taps while pressing window switch and it eventually came to life moving fully up and down I also notice battery was under 12v most of time and replaced that as well and Everything is ok

Motor. Had this on mine too. You can take it all apart, clean and grease it or just swap the motor over for one that' sknow to be good...Cheers'en, AndyC

Thanks for that guys that sounds like what it could be as it is a lot slower than the other side when it is working and if you give it a tap it some times comes back up. at least I can mebe get away with no parts. I'll get stuck in and strip it down.Comment
