Where do you guys reckon the most likely place for wiring issues for the central locking motor?
LHD passenger side. So equivalent uk driver side. Coupe door.
Remote locking unlocking always works 100%
Button on drivers door always locks or unlocks 100%
Pushrod on passenger door intermittent lock unlock. Why?

S2 Coupe... bit easier off the line...
'03 ZX12-R daily hack.... lots of nice bolt ons...
Also, you can open it up and check for dry connections in the pump, had this issue once, sometimes unlocked, sometimes didn't.
Hi. It is vacuum yes. But the vacuum line itself must be ok as it works 100% with the remote control.
You think could be the electrical connection at the pump?

Before I strip out the wrong side... is the pump in the void behind one of the rear trim panels? I'd call them rear door cards but since it's a coupe... you know what I mean...!
On a LHD coupe, is it on the drivers side or passenger?
Thanks!

You're welcome. Looked a bit harder and found this (below). The 4A0862257J for the infrared remote is the same as in my 93 UrS4 sedan also any of the B3/B4s and RS2, V8 etc with IR remote. The 4A0862257H is most likely the one in my 94 V8 S4 avant with keyed central locking but no remote.

Based on what you've written, I'd ask why do you think it's electrical? if the problem is with the passenger door pushrod then its connection to the mechanical lock is the area to look at. I had a similar (note similar not the same, it's too long ago to remember exactly!) problem after refitting my door card and the pushrod was sticking.
I know (at least - I think !!) it's an electrical issue because the actuators in the doors are actuated by vacuum from the pump. The actuators function 100% when using remote (ie alarm fob)
If you unplug the 3 pin plug from the actuator and use a switch, instead of the pushrod, sometimes it locks / unlocks sometimes it doesn't.
it has to be electrical and it has to be either the wiring from the actuator in the door to the pump, the connections in the pump. Or the pump itself - electrical or control problem...
the switch method works 100% from drivers side. Just an issue with the passenger side...
even if the pushrod was jammed you would hear it trying to move
