    Acceptable battery drain

My old battery has never been brilliant and finally failed to start the car so I have now bought a new Bosch silver replacement battery but I have done some tests to check the parasitic drain and found it to be 69 mA.

Before I do any further investigation please let me know if this is normal or a touch too high as I do not want to kill my new battery. Car is A4 1.9 Tdi B6.

As usual, any advice would be much appreciated.

May be a touch high. More than 35-50ma gets my attention. How long after vehicle is shut off does this value persist? After 15 to 20 minutes this should be lower.

Yes this was measured 30 mins after rest, it was much higher initially but soon drops off to 69 mA. I think if this was left as it currently is the battery could be flat after standing for a week.
