Consumtion after changing to RS2 Nozzles

I have a complete RS2-setup on my S2 ABY with turbo, ECU and nozzles.

After changing to Rs2-nozzles the on-board consumtion computer does not work properly.
The consumption is updating slowly and is showing a way to high usage of fuel.

Do I need to change to an RS2-instrument cluser or can I adjust/change something else?

Changing nozzles is something a lot of people at this forum do, so there must be some experiences/tips?

Don't think it's anything to do with injectors mine plays up now and then and I've recently changed to RS2 set up, more likely a dodgy connector on the dash, the instrument clusters are the same S2 RS2

So you still have a reasonable consumption/regular update-speed even with the RS2-setup? You still have the original S2-instrument cluster?

So even if changing to bigger RS2-nozzles, the consumption would be showing correct?
What is the experience of others?

I will check the instrument cluser for dodgy conectors tomorrow.

        Fuel Consumption Read-out adjustment

The trip computer fuel consumption reading is based on a duty cycle calculation based on the OE injectors flow rate. If you upsize the injectors by say, 28.6% (360 cc/min at 3 Bar for RS2 injectors/280 cc/min at 3 Bar for ABY injectors), the trip computer is still using duty cycle so the number it calculates and outputs will be less than actual consumption by up to 28.5% (but likely less, but it won't be a constant factor, will depend on how you drive and the resulting injector duty cycle) Basically it fuel consumption output becomes useless.

Some clusters have 3 dip switches that you can use to make some adjustments but it is probably not enough. Otherwise, an RS2 trip computer/cluster with RS2 injectors should be the solution.

I love this forum learn something new every day I really thought the clusters were all the same, could you fit a trip computer from an rs2 into an S2 clock cluster then to solve this

Well I have RS2 instruments in my car and the trip computer reads pretty much the same as the S2 clocks I tested before I sold them recently. So I would guess the ECU needs to be altered to change the signal to the trip computer. I am sure PRJ could tell us the answer, if he has time.

Having just changed mine I got a 10 mpg better fuel economy hope this was real and not an error

I never have the trip computer on the MPG setting as the fuel consumption is not important in cars like these in my view. I read somewhere the Nissan Leaf only cost around 2p a mile to run for all who find these things important.

My 3B running full RS2 spec still seems to give pretty accurate fuel consumption data, the overall consumption figure is within 10% when checked at the pump.

My RS2 running a K26/7 and MTM software still gives highly accurate data and is actually surprising good on fuel on a run.

But really who cares, one doesn't buy one of these cars with economy in mind.

Well, the statement that "the fuel consumption on these cars does not matter" does not help me a bit.

I asked this question because I want everything to work in my precious S2. For sure, people in a fan based forum would agree.
Otherwise, thank you for good answers.

Fuel consumption is one thing, but I`m bothered by the board computer giving me notice that I have to fuel when I still have half a tank.

So to sum things up, I need to check for dodgy connectors. If nothing changes, I need to install a RS2-instrumentcluster?
