Are Elipsoids RHD/LHD specific? (I may have bought a pair in error)

You can use HID's in non projector headlights but the law in your country might forbid that?

I ran xenon lights in my type 81 with no problems and lots of light, they were a bit blinding though in the mirros when following a car in front.

Using HIDs in reflectors is a really bad idea... A great way to get a fist in your face from other drivers though.
The stock Coupe lights without burnt-out reflectors do provide very good lighting. If you cannot source a good pair, go for a refurb.

This is what I remember from HIDs in Corsas in Scotland. Wanting to change direction, find the driver and smash his lights in.
I'll check my stock lights in detail. maybe with a pair of Night Breakers they'll be OK..
