Yes, its same white pump. I notieced in T6 connector, actual pump/wiring have thick ground brown wire in position where on white pump is nothing(missing pin), maybe therefore didnt work.
I left actual D pump in place, as is wires fit like oem, maybe it was replaced some time before, maybe its mistake(lack of info) in datasheets, doesnt matter.

Found broken yellow-blue wire(T12 p11) few centimeter before connector to piston valve/actuator in passanger door. Unfortunately i traced it whole way from pump ). Small crack in insulation+wet=corosion , invisible under factory tape.

    Thanks for help boys !

As a follow-up to your thread, I *finally* found the time and energy to investigate the non-remote central locking control pump that I have in my 94 UrS4 V8 avant. Turns out that it is a 4A0862257C, a two plug (T6 with 2 wires (power and ground only) and T12 with 11 wires in it) locking and lighting control module. The wiring that I have previously investigated for the T12 connector only had about 7 or 8 wires in it so now I have to figure out what the other 3 or 4 wires mean (they might be ones that are in the T16 plug in the three plug central locking pumps).

Joy. Electrical challenges are *always* fun.

By the way, the 257C was replaced by the 257A at some point. 257A went to 257E at the end of May 1997. But then I am told 257E was dropped in favour of 257H on, get this, end of May, 1995. Two years earlier (ouch my brain hurts). 257H was replaced by a "257P" on April 1, 2005 along with a a 4A0971014 adapter harness. Unfortunately, I can't find the application for the 257P to figure out where this "257A" branch really started.
